An Expert Wilderness Studies
Workshop is suitable for those who have completed a GCFI Advanced
Wilderness Studies Workshop.
Classes in this category challenge you
with very long hikes over extremely rough terrain while providing
an unmatched opportunity to experience the joys of wilderness travel.
Such workshops are not for everyone; an Expert Wilderness Studies
Workshop is markedly more difficult than any other GCFI backpack.
Your backcountry navigation and travel skills must be exceptional,
and you must be in top physical condition in order to focus on learning
as opposed to simply “making it.”
Prerequisites
Participation in an Advanced Wilderness Studies workshop must be approved by the instructor.
