The magnificence and beauty of the Grand Canyon led to calls for its preservation as early as the 1880s, and in 1919 President Woodrow Wilson signed a law designating Grand Canyon National Park. The park has expanded to 1.2 million acres and has over four million people visit each year.
Not only has Chimani created an app for Grand Canyon National Park visitors, but also they’re giving a portion of the proceeds of each download to the Grand Canyon Association, the park’s official nonprofit partner.
